The Department of History of the George Washington University seeks a
tenure track assistant professor of the history of recent science
beginning September 1, 2004. Although we will consider all applications,
our initial preference is for someone specializing in the history of the
life sciences (including evolution and genetics) or the history of
systematics of brain and behavior. The person appointed would be
affiliated with the Universityıs Center for History of Recent Science
and would teach courses in the Department of History. Please send a
