POSITION

University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA.  Tenured/tenure stream faculty
position in the Department of History and Philosophy of Science
beginning September 1, 2005, pending budgetary approval.

Area of Specialization:  History and philosophy of biology and related
areas that naturally complement departmental strengths.

Rank:  Open; senior rank preferred.

Responsibilities:  Undergraduate and graduate teaching; regular
department duties.

Salary:  Dependent on qualifications.  Ph.D. or equivalent and
significant publications required.
