New Brazilian Society for the Philosophy and History of Biology
 
During the 4th Meeting of Philosophy and History of Biology (August 2006), the
"Brazilian Society for the Philosophy and History of Biology" (Associação
Brasileira de Filosofia e História da Biologia, ABFHiB) was founded. The aim of
this society is to organize meetings, publications and other activities to
stimulate research and teaching on history and philosophy of biology, in Brazil
and other Portuguese- and Spanish-speaking countries. The 5th Meeting is
scheduled to happen in August 2007, in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. Additional
