500 word abstract - formatted in Microsoft Word or RTF, but also in PDF

Abstracts should mention, after the title, names of contributors, their

Please e-mail the abstract to Corrado Sinigaglia
(
corrado.sinigaglia@unimi.it). The deadline for submission is July
15, 2007. Acceptance will be notified to authors by August
30.
Paper presentation
Each paper will be assigned a 30 minute time slot. Contributors are
expected to deliver a 20-25 minute oral presentation of their work and
reserve the last 5-10 minutes for discussion.
Poster presentation
A poster is typically a collection of printed pages or images mounted
on poster board, but those with access to large-format printers may
prefer to produce a single document. The final poster size should NOT
exceed 150 x 100 centimetres (approximately 60 inches x 40 inches).There
will be scheduled sessions in which authors will be expected to stand by
their posters and discuss their work with attendees. They may wish to
bring printed technical reports or other material to hand out; they are
also encouraged to bring their laptop computers, in order to show images,
play animations, and run interactive demos. At the conference,
contributors are expected to mount their posters for attendees to view.
Poster boards, pushpins and other material needed for posting your poster
will be provided by the conference organization. Although the
presentation will be in the form of a poster, the submission itself
should be in the form of an abstract (max. 300 words) describing the
work.
Registration fee
The registration fee is 30€. For SILFS members the
registration fee includes the annual 2008 subscription. Fees will be paid
at the act of registration.
