FRANKLIN & MARSHALL COLLEGE
Environmental Studies/History and Environmental Science (two positions)

Applications are invited for two one-year faculty appointments as Visiting
Assistant Professor or Instructor, beginning in August 2008. The successful
candidates will teach undergraduate courses in (1) environmental studies,
environmental policy and/or environmental history, and (2) introductory
environmental geology, global change, hydrology, GIS, or other upper-level
courses. Teaching load is 3/2; it may include participation in the College's
general education "Foundations" or First Year Seminar programs. A Ph.D. in hand
or near completion, teaching experience, and an ongoing program of scholarly
