THREE 2-YEAR TEACHING POSITIONS
Salary: £25,134-£32,796 pa
Limit of tenure: 2 years.

We are seeking to appoint to three 2-year teaching positions in the
following areas:

1. History of Science, 1600 to 1850

2. Philosophy and/or Sociology of Science and Technology

3. History of Modern Medicine and Science

The successful candidates will have submitted a PhD before taking up their
posts and will be expected to contribute fully to the lecturing,
supervising, examination and administration of courses for both
undergraduate and graduate students in the Department. Shortlisted
candidates will be invited to the Department to present seminar papers and
for interview. The positions will start on or before 1 October 2008, and
will be supported by a 9-month probation period.
