POSTDOCTORAL TEACHING FELLOWSHIP
IN PHILOSOPHY
 

The Philosophy Department of the University of Nevada, Reno, seeks candidates
for a postdoctoral teaching position beginning July 1, 2008. Teaching load is 5
courses per year and the salary is $38,000, renewable for a 2nd year.

All requirements for the Ph.D. must be completed by July 1, 2008, and the Ph.D.
must have been granted no earlier than July 1, 2003.

AOS: Open. AOC: Open. The successful applicant must be able to teach upper-level
courses in Theory of Knowledge and Metaphysics.

The ability to contribute to areas of curricular interest, such as environmental
philosophy, history of political philosophy, philosophy of religion, or
philosophy of biology, is desirable.
