HISTORY OF BIOLOGY WRITERS SOUGHT
General editor James Ciment of the upcoming four volume history reference work,
Discovery and Invention: An Encyclopedia of Science, Technology, and Society,
(Armonk: ME Sharpe, 2009-2010), is looking for scholars to contribute articles
in the history of biology and medicine.
General interest articles will be global in geographic scope and cover topics
from neolithic times through the present. Other articles, of course, are place
and/or time specific. If you are interested in learning more about the project,
as well as non-agriculture-related articles, you can write me at
discovery.assistant@encyclopediawebsite.com or visit the website:
http://www.encyclopediawebsite.com/ and click on "Discovery and Invention."
All contributing scholars will receive a small honorarium, with longer
assignments also being compensated for with a copy of the encyclopedia. All
contributing authors will receive full editorial credit in the book.
